Summary

Located right in the heart of San Sebastián, on the ground floor of the Victoria Eugenia theatre, the Victoria Café opened in 2007 with the aim of meeting an ambitious challenge; to become a benchmark in cuisine for those attending the magnificent, newly-restored Victoria Eugenia Theatre.

All through the day and most of the night we can enjoy a delicious breakfast, a wide range of pintxos and portions, and mixed drinks made with the leading spirits brands or delicious cocktails, all prepared with the very best basic ingredients.

Transport

  • It can be reached by adapted public transport.
  • The 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31 and 42 services from the urban bus network operated by Dbus have stops 300 metres from the bar, in the Boulevard.
  • Lines 14 and 37 have stops in the Plaza de Gipuzkoa, less than 300 metres away.

  • Also in Okendo street, 40 metres from the bar, there are bus stops of Lurraldebus intercity lines BU12, BU13, BU40G, E08, E09 and E79.
  • The nearest taxi ranks are in the Boulevard and in the Calle Idiakez, 400 metres away.
  • The route between the bus stops, the taxi ranks and the bar is barrier-free.

  • The restaurant has a main entrance via 2 steps or a ramp.
  • Ramp dimensions: 200 cm wide by 440 cm long, with an 8% slope.
  • It has automatic sliding doors with a clear opening width of 140 cm.

Getting around

  • Wheelchair users can move around freely inside the bar.
  • Hard, non-slip flooring.
  • The café is well-lit.
  • The Victoria Café has 2 interior rooms and 2 terraces.
  • One of the terraces is at street level in the Plaza Okendo and the other is raised next to the entrance to the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.
  • The main room is at the same level as the raised terrace and the second room is in the basement.
  • The interior rooms are connected by a lift and some stairs.
  • The lift is wheelchair-accessible. Dimensions: 110 cm by 140 cm with a clear door opening width of 90 cm.
  • The lift has button panels in Braille and high-relief inside and outside, and has visual prompts giving the floor number.
  • The height between the bottom edge of the tables and the floor is 70 cm.

Please note! In the main room there is a high bar area and some chairs are high.
