Garibai guesthouse

Summary

The pensión Garibai is located in a brand new building right at the heart of the Romantic Area, just a 1 minute walk from the Old Town, the Plaza de Gipuzkoa and La Concha Beach. It is not only conveniently located but is also perfectly communicated, as it is right in the city centre.

It has 12 double and single rooms with full bathroom. They are fully-equipped, with a balcony or terrace, and offer all the amenities and services that you may need.

  • It can be reached by adapted public transport.
  • The 5, 8, 9, 13, 16, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31 and 42 services from the urban bus network operated by Dbus have stops close to the guest house.
  • The nearest bus stops are “Boulevard 17" and "Boulevard 19", 250 metres away.

  • There is a taxi rank 200 metres from the guest house.
  • The pedestrian routes between the bus stops, the taxi rank and the hotel are accessible to wheelchair users.

Parking spaces for people with reduced mobility

  • The guesthouse offers its guests special agreed rates in the Kontxa car park.
  • In Garibai street, just opposite the doorway where the guesthouse is located, there are 2 parking spaces marked for PRM.
  • The route between the parking areas and the entrance to the guesthouse is barrier-free.

Access

  • The guesthouse is on the first floor of a residential building.
  • The entrance to the building is at ground level, and the door is manual, opens inwards and has a clear opening width of 90 cm.
  • There is a lift at ground level and stairs to go up to the first floor.
  • The lift is wheelchair-accessible. Dimensions: 110 cm by 140 cm with a clear door opening width of 90 cm.
  • The lift has button panels in Braille, high-relief and contrast inside and outside, and has visual prompts giving the floor number.
  • The guesthouse door is manual and opens inwards with a clear opening width of 90 cm.
