Summary

Just 5 km away from the city of San Sebastián, in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by apple trees, is where Petritegi Cider House is currently located. Petritegi originally had a wooden cider press for making cider with the apples from its properties, mainly intended for family consumption or local trade. Five generations later, it has become the ideal place for tasting cider, enjoying Basque cuisine, getting to know an important part of the culture of this region and discovering the production process carried out by cider makers.

Petritegi has a cider house, a cafe and a shop.

The cider house building is made up of 3 cellars and 3 dining rooms:

  • Sagar Dining Room. This is the main one.
  • Baserri or Borda Dining Room. This room is decorated in the style of a typical Guipuzcoan country house.
  • Arrantzale Dining Room. Inspired by Basque fishermen.

The latter two rooms can be booked in full by groups (advance booking essential).
