Parking spaces for people with reduced mobility

• The hostel has its own car park.
• The car park has 2 spaces marked for PRM.
• Dimensions: 6 m by 6 m and 3.20 m by 5 m.
• The pedestrian route between the parking area and the entrance to the hostel is barrier-free.

Access

• The venue has one main entrance.
• The entrance door is an automatic sliding door with a clear opening width of 170 cm.
• The entrance door to reception is an automatic sliding door with a clear opening width of 116 cm.

 

Information point

• The reception desk is double-height.
• The lower level of the desk is 75 cm from the floor and has little space for access by wheelchair users.
• There is information on the website about the hostel and its services, and bookings can be made.

Getting around

• Wheelchair users can move freely around the hotel.
• Hard, non-slip flooring.
• Wide, well lit passageways and entrance halls.
• There are seats in reception and in the common areas.
• There are stairs and 2 lifts.
• The lifts are accessible to wheelchair users. Dimensions: 107 cm by 138 cm and with a clear opening width of 90 cm.
• The lifts have button panels in Braille, high relief and contrast inside and outside, and they have visual and sound prompts giving the floor number.

The hostel has a multipurpose area on the third floor with different sections:

  • The height between the bottom edge of the tables and the floor is 69 cm and 72 cm.

• Kitchen. There is a kitchen where guests can prepare their meals.
  • It has a sliding door and the clear opening width is 80 cm.
  • The kitchen is narrow and there is not enough space for wheelchair users to turn around.
  • The kitchen utensil and appliance area is open and larger than the kitchen; it does not have a door and is an extension of the dining room.
• Terrace
• Laundry
  • The terrace gives access to a room with washing machines.
  • The door has a clear opening width of 80 cm.
  • The room is too narrow for wheelchair users.

Cafe

• The hostel does not have its own cafe.
• There is an independent bar-cafe on the ground floor.
• Access is at ground level.
• The door is an automatic sliding door with a clear opening width of 116 cm.
• Movement inside the cafe is barrier-free.
• The tables have a central leg.
• The height between the bottom edge of the tables and the floor is 72 cm.
• There is a gluten-free menu.
• The bar-cafe has toilets marked as adapted.
• There are sliding doors with a clear opening width of 79 cm; the lavatories have a movable support rail; the washbasins are accessible to wheelchair users and have mixer taps, and the mirror is tilted.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs (guide, signal, medical alert, autism, service dogs for people with reduced mobility, etc.) are admitted free of charge, in accordance with Law 10/2007, of 29 June, on Assistance Dogs for the Care of People with Disabilities.
