Opened in Spring 2017, SANSEbay HOTEL is in a prime location, on the edge of the San Sebastián’s old town right next to the port, with impressive sea views, close to the beach, at the entrance to Mount Urgull right in the city centre.

Transport

  • It can be reached by adapted public transport.
  • The 5, 8, 9, 13, 16, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31 and 42 services from the urban bus network operated by Dbus have stops close to the hotel.
  • The nearest bus stops are “Boulevard 17" and "Boulevard 19", 550 metres away.

  • The pedestrian routes between the bus stops, the taxi rank and the hotel are accessible to wheelchair users.

Please note! The accessible pedestrian route is in the port, running parallel to Mari street, where there is a practically flat raised pathway.

PRM parking spaces.

  • The hotel has a robotic parking garage. Cars enter the garage in a lift.

Please note! The hotel is in the Old Town, a pedestrian zone with restricted access for vehicles.

  • If you want to park in the garage, you must notify the hotel in advance, and once you are there, the staff will park your car.
  • There are parking spaces marked for PRM in the street: in Aldamar street, 450 metres away, and in Garibai street, 550 metres from the hotel.
  • There are PRM spaces 450 metres from the hotel in the Boulevard Car Park.
  • The pedestrian route between the parking areas and the entrance to the hotel is barrier-free if you take the elevated pathway that is parallel to the Mari street, which runs along the top of the city wall.

Getting around

  • The hotel is located in 2 buildings joined in a party wall. One building consists of a ground floor and 4 upper floors, and the other, of a ground floor and a top floor.
  • Wheelchair users are able to move freely round the hotel.
  • Hard, non-slip flooring.
  • Wide, well lit passageways and entrance halls.
  • Seating in reception and in the cafeteria.
  • There are stairs and lifts.
  • There are two lifts.
  • The lifts are accessible to wheelchair users.
  • One lift is next to the entrance and is used to reach the first floor. Dimensions: 110 cm by 140 cm with a clear opening width of 90 cm.
  • The other lift provides access from the ground floor to the 4 upper floors. Dimensions: 120 cm by 140 cm with a clear opening width of 90 cm.
  • The lifts have button panels in Braille and high-relief inside and outside, and have visual and audible prompts giving the floor number.

  • The hotel has a café exclusively for breakfasts for guests.
  • It is on the ground floor next to reception.
  • The café restaurant is divided into 2 areas: one next to the entrance to the hotel and the other which is the terrace area.
  • Access to the cafe is on ground level.
