Summary

MUKA, in Basque from Iparralde (French Basque Country) “ash from the fire” is a restaurant that invites you to explore fire in all its forms: embers, flame, hot coals, smoke, ash… It is located on the ground floor of the Kursaal Congress Centre, at the start of the breakwater, next to the Zurriola bridge.

MUKA has been conceptualised by Andoni Luis Aduriz together with a multidisciplinary team made up of people from different IXO group restaurants. It offers an adventure that makes it possible to experience fire through all the senses, from its cuisine, to the space itself, that has a grill area where most of the dishes on the menu are cooked. The culinary creations, intended for sharing, can also be enjoyed on a spectacular terrace with views of the mouth of the River Urumea.

Finally, the restaurant also has a top floor exclusively reserved for events with a private terrace with views of the María Cristina Hotel and the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.
